Hours and Rates

The Visual Arts Center, Kirby Science Discovery Center, and the Wells Fargo CineDome are operating in their fall/winter schedule, which includes being closed on most Mondays and Tuesdays after Labor Day 2008 through Easter 2009. They will be open, however, on school holidays such as Native American Day (Monday, October 13, 2008), honoring our Veterans (Monday, November 10, 2008) and on Veteran's Day (Tuesday, November 11,  2008), New Year's Eve (Wednesday, December 31, 2008), Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 19, 2009), Presidents Day (Monday, February 16, 2009), and most other school holidays.  The Washington Pavilion is closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day.

After Easter (Sunday, April 12, 2009) hours will return to spring/summer schedule with the Visual Arts Center, the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the Wells Fargo CineDome open on Mondays and Tuesdays through Labor Day 2009. 

The Box Office, lobbies, and administrative offices remain open with regular business hours throughout the year.

First Friday The Washington Pavilion offers several activities on the first Friday of each month, many of which are free or discounted.  Call 605-367-6000 or toll free 1-877-WashPav for more information. 

	First Free Friday: From 5:00 - 8:00  PM on the first Friday of each month admission to the Kirby Science Discovery Center is FREE.
	Pavilion Tours - free tour of the facility on the first Friday of every month from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, including the dressing rooms and backstage when available. Inquire at the 1st floor information booth at the Kirby Science Discovery Center entrance.
